KNITTED CHAINWOMAN

This is the story of a heroin....She chains all the villains. Her knitted costume has superpowers repelling any negative energy in the world!!

STAGE CAVALCADE

I was dying to show some pics of my latest work in ready to wear. I am going to start with this dress that took me forever to finish...it just took a long time to sample and then I had to manipulate the stitches every single row to create the lace and the ladders. I am pretty happy with the result.
I got inspired by Angelique´s beautiful tattoo designs:

KNIT MYSTIQUE ROCKS

I am pretty sure that you have already noticed the change in the logo. This one is been created by the amazing Harold Kohn. I love what he has done with it, such great concept!! you can see more of his work here www.hakk.ch
In the meantime hope you enjoy the new look cos it is here to stay!!

SEAFARI JUMPSUIT

I was just going through all the files in my computer, in the effort of building a really strong folio...and came across the work I did at college. I did really enjoy remembering how much fun I had working on this one:

A SORT OF PATCHWORK

This is a new colorway of the multipanel scarf. I made it for a very cheerful Australian lady!! hope she is still enjoying it! I love the red/purple combo, very striking!

A WANDERING SCARF

And this is me having fun with the scarf. Not only whilst knitting it, but also allowing it to wander and then capturing it on my not so impressive camera!!

This scarf is available for purchase on this link,

RED ROSE WRAP AROUND - part 2

I am in the process of making another red rose wrap around, but since both of these two have already sold, I rather knit it using a different color combo.
In the meantime, I am showing the second one which looked amazing on the stunning Nami!!

RED ROSE WRAP AROUND

I also love the smell of roses!! but for those winter days when there is no roses in the garden...

A LIFELONG PASSION FOR THE ZEBRA

Yeap, I am a declared lover of the very much used and abused zebra print. There is something in that raw black and white combo, the way it curves, its random direction, and that there are not two skins the same!!
Sometimes I think it is just a face or a trend, but unlike with other animal prints, I never get tired of the zebra.
This sleevless shawl is an explosion of patterns that I find do really well together. With the allowance of a tiny break in the pastel blue. Enjoy as much as I do!!

You can find this item for sale here:

CHOP MY HEAD OFF

Following my last post and getting into
th
is of being my own model too...I decide to experiment by posing and then cropping most of my head off.
The result....I still need a professional model!! anyone?

RELYING ON MY OWN RESOURCES

I must get extra creative when I lack the proper resources to get a majestic photoshoot...but not letting this get on my way, I have managed to take a few ok pics to show you the capelete. Bit grainy, I know, but still you can get the idea!!!

The first photo is from the works of mapigil, check her work http://www.mapigil.com/home/works/paintings/protect-me.html

I AM GOING FOR THE CAPELETE

Getting a bit sidetracked form the scarf series and because Spring is definitely arrived here in London, I just got inspired by the idea of having lots of capeletes for this summer. They are made using Italian cotton and silk.

HIS SCARF

I had to have a go at designing something for men. I never do... and the main reason being... that I find it easier to work on ideas and designs that I would wear.
I guess this limitation is quite common so I won´t beat myself about it!! But thinking again....I would love to design a collection for men, it would be loud, playful and very metro.
Enjoy this pics!

THE FIRST OF MORE TO COME

This is the first of a series of scarfs I have been working on for the new etsy shop, www.knitmystique.etsy.com.
I am hoping to get a photo shoot organized by the time I have finished them all, but I wanted to start sharing with you some images.
